More Than a Carpenter built our deck (40x20) and did an EXCELLENT job! Steve was very helpful and informative. I told him my future plans to add a covered, attached gazebo with outdoor kitchen, and he made sure the deck was reinforced to be able to hold it. Had we not been talking about it, I wouldn’t have known it had to be reinforced to hold the extra weight. He communicated every step along the way, provided input on my design plans, and was very cost-aware, knowing I was on a budget. I received several quotes before I selected More Than A Carpenter and did lots of research before selecting them. I have water drainage issues when it rains hard because I have a hill behind the deck. Steve was the ONLY one that had planned to address those issues while building the deck, which would save LOTS of money in the long run. I could not be happier with the build and would not hesitate to use them again!
